Hobart Rewards ‘Big School Bake Off’ Winner With Top of the Range Mixer
"Congratulations to Sarah on her win and well done to everyone who competed"
Caterer Sarah Medlicott from Torbay School in Paignton has scooped a Hobart N50 mixer after proving her baking credentials in the first ever Big School Bake Off, run in by Unilever food solutions in conjunction with LACA – Lead Association for Catering in Education.
Sarah described herself as “thrilled” to come top of the class in a field of exceptionally talented school caterers, baking up a storm and wowing judges with her take on a traditional Victoria sandwich.
Alongside Hobart’s top quality, class leading mixer, Sarah also walks away with tea for two at the Ritz, a baking workshop for four people – run by TV Bake Off winner Jo Wheatley – and £50 of high street shopping vouchers.
Roger Kellow, Hobart Government Account Manager – Hobart UK, said: “Congratulations to Sarah on her win and well done to everyone who competed – proof, if proof were needed, of the levels of skill demonstrated in so many school kitchens across the country. The Bake Off is an incredibly important initiative and Hobart is proud to support it.
“We are also delighted that Sarah will take delivery of one of our N50 mixers. I’m confident this efficient, robust and durable workhorse will help take her baking to even greater levels.”
