Installing, maintaining and servicing your large warewash machine

HOBART large warewash machines are designed to make your life easier. Pre-washing, washing and drying up to 320 racks per hour, these machines have the technology and intelligence to accurately tailor performance to a site’s requirements.

When it comes to installing and maintaining these large warewash machines, it is essential it’s done by an expert.

“HOBART large dishwashers are not ‘plug and play’ machines,” explains HOBART UK’s Technical Operations Manager, Mark Whitmarsh, “There are complexities and bespoke installation requirements which should only be carried out by a factory trained Service Technician.”

HOBART Service Technicians undergo a year of initial manufacturer training and annual refresher training to ensure their knowledge and performance is unrivalled. Mark ensures the team are fully briefed with any bespoke technical updates and with regular training sessions when required either online or face-to-face.

“HOBART Service Technicians ensure your dishwasher is fully installed and commissioned to the manufacturer guidelines, our highly experienced in-house installation team will ensure that the complexities and bespoke installation requirements are carried out.”

Downtime of a large dishwasher is likely to disrupt a site’s entire catering operation. Mark explains the best way to prevent machine downtime, “Simple - use factory-trained installation teams who follow the manufacturer’s installation requirements.

“Products installed by our in-house installation team are often known to be more reliable. The performance of these machines is critical and often we find that when the manufacturer’s installation requirements are not met, it often leads to prolonged downtime and delays to our customers’ entire operation.”

When warewash machines are running at their optimal level, they can save customers time and money while producing unrivalled results.

“Optimising large warewash machines often requires bespoke adjustments to the machine’s internal airflow systems, this can increase the energy efficiency of the product – although it is something that can only be performed by factory trained engineers.

The team will also ensure that the process chemicals are correct for the desired application and we will always endeavour to aid the environmental impacts that your product may introduce.”
